All My Holy Mountain is the concluding book in L. B. Graham's Binding Of The Blade series. Graham neatly wraps up the loose ends that he had left dangling since the very beginning of the series. While things end predictably, it is entertaining none the less to see the story unfold.
Some commentators and industry watchers claim that a new market is emerging in Christian fiction. That is the market for adult fantasy and science fiction -- speculative fiction in general. The explosion of fantasy series for children seems to give a basis for this prediction. If there is a market now for children's Christian fantasy then in ten to fifteen years those same readers will likely be looking for adult literature in the same vein. Grahams books very well may mark the start of this epoch.
The books are written with a bit of bias towards the younger audience but they are still quite enjoyable by adults. Fantasy fans who are interested in avoiding the blatant immorality much too common in mainstream fantasy will find these books refreshing.
I hope Graham plans to publish new material soon. |
