On Sunday, 1/9/2005 my youngest sister and her husband had her first kid.  This was also my parents' tenth grandkid.  So there was lots of excitement around our homes this weekend. 

 

Broderick weighed in at almost 8 pounds and measured about 20 inches in length.  Quite a nice healthy baby boy.  Below are some pictures when he's only a few hours old.

 

Somehow we just couldn't get him to wake up.  All he wanted to do was sleep.  I'm sure it won't be long before the new parents will be wishing for these days.
