Trip Overview Print

ImageThis trip was a three day out-and-back trip into the Middle Santiam Wilderness in the Willamette National Forest.   There were four of us this time: me (Mike), my Dad (dad), my brother (Dave) and my brother-in-law (Dave).  The path we took added up to around 21 miles by the time we were done. But due to blowdowns it felt a lot more like 40 miles.  That was lesson #1 that we all learned -- avoid trails with lots of blowdowns.

When it was all said and done we all had a great time.
