For quite some time I've been trying to develop a running exercise routine. This has been frustrating because I always felt like I was never getting anywhere. My stamina was never improving and my speed stayed the same. A few months ago a friend pointed me to a website called www.coolrunning.com. That was great. They have training programs, based on years of running experience, to help get into shape. The training program that caught my interest was the "couch to 5k" program. The promise of this program was to get you from couch potato level to running a 5k in about 9 weeks.
As unbelievable as it sounds there was a large number of testimonials from people who went through the program. I decided to try it. After a few ups and downs I made it through the program. Now I'm running about 15 miles a week and I feel very good about it. If you are considering starting a running program then I strongly recommend the cool running site.
