I think that my favorite Christmas song is "What Child Is This?". There is something simple and elegant about the melody and harmony in that song that just strikes me. I realize that the tune is Greensleeves but I don't know what that is. Is that a Christmas song too?

A few years ago a new song came out "Mary Did You Know?" and I think this song sounds a lot like "What Child Is This?". It's got the same flowing and smooth melody and similar lyrical content. I like that song just about as well.
