I frequently get questions from friends and family about how to build a great website. I almost always point the person towards a system called Joomla!. That is what I used to build and run this website that you're looking at now. People who know nothing about website development think it is great and have no questions. People who know something about site design always ask me if there are limitations and constraints using Joomla!. They are mostly interested in seeing a list of sites that have been built with Joomla!.

The Joomla! Websites page is such a list. It shows 200 different sites that use Joomla! effectively. The site is broken into 50 different categories and shows 4 sites for each category. It is interesting to view those different sites and see many of the examples of what Joomla! can do.
