We seem to have lost our cat today. He's an indoor only cat (all of ours have been) but we haven't been able to find him anywhere in the house. This morning when I went for my run around 5:45 I saw a cat sitting on the fence outside. Since I never expected our cat to be outside I didn't think anything of it. But now no one can find him. I'm really hoping, if he got outside,that he returns sometime soon.

The non-cat lovers in the world probably don't see much tragedy in this situation. That's fine for them but for us this is no fun. The kids have really grown attached to the cat -- well, so have the adults. So it's a sad day for us and we're really hoping he comes back home.
