Most of my website development clients eventually ask me for information on how to choose a good hosting service. There are so many hosting sites that offer a range of features and quality that it can be hard for non-technical people to find a good hosting provider. It's not hard to find a low cost host but sometimes low cost also means low quality. Web Hosting Pal offers a great and easy to understand comparison of many hosting options. This site is especially good for non-technical site owners. |

Every once in a while I run across something that amazes me online. That is, something that is so sneaky at taking peoples money it's amazing. Here is the latest example: http://www.whichcelebrityami.com/. Whatever you do, DON'T complete the survey on this site. It will cost you $6/month if you do. Here's how this nefarious scheme hooks you.

One problem PDAs and PocketPCs owners seems to run into often has to do with a scratched up screen. Most of those devices use a touchscreen to allow the user more input options. Unfortunately this inevitably leads to scratches. The areas that get used the most (the start menu and the application close icon) get the most scratches. One solution to this are these clever little screen protectors.
